ROBERT BATTEY, OWNER

In addition to a love of the fired arts, Rob brings to his business substantial experience from working for L&L Kilns in New Jersey for over 13 years.  

He began with L&L working in Assembly and Wiring, then Quality Control and Testing, then Head Technician and Service Manager. 

Before L&L, Rob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, 

An expert in all sorts of electric kilns, Rob loves solving tough and bizarre electrical problems people have with kilns.

Rob works tirelessly to fulfill his client's needs and to have their kilns up and running as quickly as possible.

Rob does not, however, spend every waking hour on the phone or in front of a kiln. 

An assistant scoutmaster  with Bend's BSA Troop 21, Rob also enjoys snowboarding, softball, x-country skiing, caving, and dirt bikes.  Rob lives in Bend with his family, the new puppy, and a bunch of adopted cats.
